Peak Lodge, Crake Valley, Water Yeat

near Lake Coniston, Lake District

Crake Valley is a small wooded holiday park and holds the David Bellamy Gold Award for Conservation. It is situated in an elevated position above Coniston Water, with views of the Old Man of Coniston and surrounding fells.

The Steam Gondola on Lake Coniston is a popular trip during April to October.  Enjoy the former house of Beatrix Potter at Hill Top, Hawkshead.
