Longnor Wood is a small, select 4 star park offering luxury holiday lodges, some with outdoor hot tubs and is ideally situated for exploring the Peak District National Park. Nearby, the village of Longnor has pubs and restaurants, while outdoor badminton, boules, a putting green and shop are all available on site. Buxton is a traditional spa town offering excellent shopping in Spring Gardens or you can visit the Pavilion Gardens, Opera House, the Dome and the country park. Many visitor attractions are close to Longnor Wood, including Alton Towers Theme Park, Chatsworth House and the Heights of Abraham at Matlock. Blackbrook Zoological Park is a wildlife park set in the Staffordshire Moorlands where there is a varied collection of some of the most rare and endangered species to be found in the world.
